Milo Rau

È direttore artistico della compagnia IIPM – International Institute of Political Murder e, dal 2018, del teatro NTGent in Belgio.

Tra i suoi progetti, figurano The Last Days of the Ceauşescus (2009), City of Change (2010), Hate Radio (2011), Breivik’s Statement (2012), The Moscow Trials (2013), The Zurich Trials (2013), la Trilogia dell’Europa (The Civil Wars, The Dark Ages ed Empire, 2014-16), The Congo Tribunal (2015), Compassion (2016), Five Easy Pieces (2016), The 120 Days of Sodom (2017), Lenin (2017), General Assembly (2017), La Reprise – Histoire(s) du Théâtre I (2018),The Repetition (2018), The Ghent Altarpiece (2018), Orestes in Mosul, La rivolta della dignità – Il Nuovo Vangelo (2019), Familie (2020), Grief&Beauty (2021) e Antigone in the Amazon (2023).

Milo Rau ha ottenuto numerosi riconoscimenti teatrali e accademici, ed è attivo anche come critico, docente e scrittore.

Dal 2023 è direttore del Wiener Festwochen.
